5 Rs – JCC’s Principles
The five R’s are the college principles that all community members work within to help create a safe and creative space. They are also a set of ideas that can help people navigate the world in a way that supports non-violence. Below are some ideas on how we use the 5 R’s in college.
The Big Picture Design
Personalisation: One student at a time. With the help of their Community Group Coordinator and parents, each student develops a learning plan that explores their interests and passions, and identifies personal learning goals, authentic project work and wider curriculum requirements. This plan is reviewed and updated regularly.
Practice Framework
To be a safe and creative learning community where young people from diverse backgrounds can take up their human right to a 21st Century education. At JCC we believe that a quality education nurtures lifelong learning. Our learners practice and improve their lifelong learning skills so they can build meaningful lives for themselves and others.
Protecting Children
